Love a Good Yard Sale? Burlington VT
If you're a Yard Sale Devotee--if you can spot a treasure under an old comforter from the passenger's seat of a car--Then ReSOURCE has the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteers are needed to sort and organize recent donations to the ReSTORE. Training and orientation provided.
2 hours a week, flexible during store hours (Mon.-Sat. 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.) Saturdays and Mondays are preferred, but most any time is a good time for us!
Orientation and training are required. Volunteers must be able to lift and carry at least 10 lbs. Important skills include: A sense of humor, a discerning eye, and an enjoyment for creating order out of chaos.

Merchandise Movers and Organizers Burlington VT
Volunteer "weight lifters" are needed to help move merchandise in and out of our re-use stores. Reach your target heart rate and feel the burn as you carry TV's up and down stairs to and from the electronics shop, or as you lift used timbers at the Building Materials Center. Cheaper than a gym membership! A strong back, willingness to work with people and have fun are important. Volunteers are also needed to help keep our store aisles clean, picking up items that have been moved, and keeping shelves organized. A knack for organization and tidiness and a desire to laugh and have fun are all you need.
Would like a 4-hour block of time once a week--may be weekday or Saturday.
Volunteers must attend a 45 minute orientation, which counts towards total required hours if community service is mandatory. Volunteer must be able to lift and carry at least 10 lbs repeatedly, listen to and follow directions, and think and act independently.

Database Volunteer Burlington VT
Help us improve and make existing SQL based MS Access database more user friendly, and develop new features. Database is used to track staff, volunteers, customers, donors and sales. It was developed internally and has evolved over the past fourteen years. Priority is to extend the existing point of sale systems at the 266 Store location to the ReBUILD Center and Barre.
