ReSOURCE’s YouthBuild program is provides youth between the ages of 16 and 24 with job skills, leadership and career development training, and AmeriCorps service experience, and an opportunity to complete their secondary education.
The AmeriCorps Construction Assistant supports valuable job skills and safety training to YouthBuild students based on the NCCER certification. In addition, this position works with community partners to develop high impact construction projects that improve affordable housing and public infrastructure, and supports student AmeriCorps members in their completion. The YouthBuild staff team is highly collaborative and deeply invested in youth development.
This is a full-time (1,700 hour/1 year) AmeriCorps position that includes a stipend and a Segal Education Award.
Priority candidates will have experience in both construction and education.
