Your donations and purchases support ReSOURCE’s mission to empower Vermonters through job skills training, poverty relief, and environmental stewardship

How do I schedule a pick up?
Thank you for thinking of ReSOURCE for your reusable goods! Reach out to any of our dispatchers to schedule a pick up. We usually schedule two weeks out.

Is there a fee for pick ups?
On occasion there is a small town-based fee for our pick up service. Ask about these when scheduling your pickup. Additional fees may be added for flights of stairs.
Fees may be waived within the immediate vicinity of ReSOURCE stores in Williston, Burlington, Barre, and Hyde Park.
The fee we charge for our pick up service covers part of the cost to run our truck and pay our drivers. Thank you for choosing ReSOURCE and for keeping reusable goods out of our landfill!
What if ReSOURCE can't accept my items?
We accept most reusable items as donations. However occasionally there are items we cannot reuse. Our staff will make the final decisions after a visual inspection. If items are not reuseable or accepted by ReSOURCE, we suggest the following:
- Post on Front Porch Forum, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace
- Contact your local trash hauler
- Contact your local solid waste district
