This workshop will introduce the participant to the the foundations of carpentry. We will start with the basics, including choosing a tool-belt, the right hammer, different types of lumber and nails. We’ll discuss and learn project planning, framing a floor, walls, framing rough openings for windows and doors, marking your rafters, and building your roof. We’ll use basic carpentry tools, circular saws, compound miter saws, levels, and more. The class will cooperate to complete a small shed project.
