Rebecca is a Kindness of Heart Volunteer at the Barre ReSOURCE Store. She started volunteering in July 2013 and has put in more than 1,000 hours pricing items, putting out new items, researching new items, and training new volunteers/trainees. She began volunteering when she found under priced items in the store and wanted to help the organization find fair prices. Rebecca enjoys interacting with customers, volunteers, donors, and staff. She likes to be a service to the community, busy, and she enjoys finding neat items.
“I volunteer to give back to the community, but I volunteer with ReSOURCE specifically because I believe in the mission of ReSOURCE, and because it was how I was brought up; I generate one 131 lb bag of trash a week. Always reuse, compost, and reuse!”
