ReSOURCE offers a variety of training programs to help individuals gain job skills and enhance their career opportunities. Our training programs include:
- Career Start: Career Start is a program for high school students. Students maintain a regular work shift during the school day in one of ReSOURCE’s departments at our Burlington or Barre locations. They gain hands-on experience, technical skills training, and participate in monthly personal and professional development classes. Tuition is free for qualifying Vermonters.
- Every Body Works: This program focuses on providing job training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Participants gain skills in areas such as retail, customer service, and office administration.
- Construction 101: Construction 101 is a training program that prepares individuals for entry-level positions in the construction industry. Participants learn basic construction skills, safety protocols, and gain hands-on experience.
- Weatherization 101: Weatherization 101 is a program that trains individuals in energy efficiency and weatherization techniques. Participants learn how to make homes more energy-efficient, reducing energy costs and environmental impact.
- HVAC 101: HVAC 101 is a training program for individuals interested in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. Participants learn about HVAC systems, installation, maintenance, and repair.
- LEAP (Learn, Earn, and Prosper): LEAP is a program that provides job training and employment opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment. Participants gain skills in areas such as retail, customer service, and office administration.
- YouthBuild: YouthBuild is a program that provides job training and educational opportunities for young adults ages 16-24. Participants gain construction skills, earn their high school diploma or GED, and develop leadership and life skills.
