ReSOURCE’s Every Body Works AmeriCorps program addresses economic opportunities by building service-based learning experiences which improves and prepares Vermonters to successfully enter the workforce.
Every Body Works provides a pathway to employment through technical and professional training during the term of service. The program is geared toward addressing the high unemployment rates for Vermonters with disabilities. For purposes of this program, Every Body Works defines disability as anyone with a barrier to employment. This is a broad definition intended to include numerous Vermonters.
ReSOURCE has highly structured training programs that offer opportunities to adult and youth with barriers, many of which with disabilities. These programs offer and teach participants to hone job skills and prepare for a successful work life as productive members of their communities. ReSOURCE hopes to expand the opportunities for those we serve with disabilities through AmeriCorps, specifically service-based learning and education awards.
Participants will engage in experiential training, encompassing a range of skills from basic workplace etiquette to advanced technical competencies. Our curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs of each learner.
