Last week, we checked in with Dylan, who recently graduated YouthBuild at the beginning of October after presenting his capstone. Last week, he took classes at Advanced Welding Institute (AWI) to learn more about the craft and follow what he’s passionate about doing. He stated that he’s really happy with the classes and he’s learning a lot, and he’s happy that YouthBuild taught him about perseverance and prepared him. He seemed happy to be where he was – surrounded by people that liked doing similar things, who could teach him all they knew.
