This summer I did my Learn, Earn, And Prosper (LEAP) internship at the Burlington City Arts Center located on 135 Church Street. BCA is an art gallery, arts education/studio center, and cultural events space. I think it was a great opportunity for me because I’m majoring in Business and minoring in Art. I have learned a little about both the business and art components of the Burlington City Arts Center by assisting with gallery education and doing some administrative work.
It is interesting to see the hard work and a bit of the behind the scenes of how they get the amazing art in and out of the building, and the preparations for the different events. BCA is also a very welcoming and friendly community of people.
I am very thankful for the LEAP program at ReSOURCE for letting me have this great opportunity so I can have these fun experiences and gain skills.
